Why this site exists
Search for a free sewing pattern and you get a list of twenty links and a photo for each. You click through six of them before finding out that one stops at a size 16, two want your email address, and one has been a 404 since last year. The information that decides whether a file is any use to you is never in the list — it is buried three clicks deep, or not written down anywhere at all.
So we open every page, write down the details, and put the date on it.
Sewing patterns are the first category here. Others follow the same rule: a category only goes up once every entry in it has been opened and checked by hand, and every entry carries the date that happened.
How this is kept honest
- Nothing is hosted here. Every download goes to the original site. We do not copy files or photos.
- Nothing is invented. If a page does not state its size range, the field says Not stated. We never fill a gap with a guess.
- Every entry is dated. Links rot and free patterns go paid. You can always see when we last looked.
